You may have seen the college freshman meme, the one about the college freshman who has trouble figuring out college culture but seems really excited about it. In the passage on the next page, see if you can correct his mistakes with verbs as you think about the mistakes he makes adjusting to college.

In the passage, there are errors in subject-verb agreement and verb tenses. Read the passage; then, in the activity questions, click on the correct form or tense of the verb that would work better in the sentences with the errors.
