Try It Out: Semicolons

The paragraphs on the next page provide some interesting information on zombie films, but the passage is missing some semicolons.

After reviewing the passage, click to proceed to the activity. Click on the semicolons from the punctuation options located in the box at the top of the passage, and then place them in the correct places in the paragraph.

Here’s a hint: Remember that the semicolon can function to separate independent clauses or complete sentences just like a period.
