Writing Scenario #3

Original Scenario:

A student writer is being asked to make an argumentative claim on a solution to a problem to which there are no easy answers. At best, the student should be able to offer a solution that will help the most people, though there will be exceptions.

Type of Argument: 

In this situation, because the solutions are so complex and would not work for everyone, the writer would need to choose words and content carefully and offer qualifiers. The Toulmin argument is well suited for an argument with qualifiers.
